I am an Agile Consultant with over 30 years of practical and extensive end-to-end experience of designing and building both large and small business systems across a range of business sectors. I have an expert knowledge, gained from many years of successfully tailoring and implementing a range different development methodologies to suit different client cultures and environments. 

Even in the early days of waterfall methodologies, implementing Structured Analysis techniques, it was obvious that a 'one size fits all' approach was not the way it to make it successful.  Each organisation had its own culture, people and 'heartbeat'.  Implementing any sort of major change across the enterprise was a delicate operation if it was to be done smoothly and effectively.  As an Agile Consultant and certified scrum master I have helped many major organisations adopt, adapt and develop their own versions and variatons of formal and informal agile implementations.

Agile Experience

In addition to being an agile consultant, I am a Certified Scrum Master with practical agile experience of working on a large scale Scrum XP based agile development that included the use of both on-shore and off-shore agile development teams as well as multiple 3rd party organisations and off the shelf packages.  The largest of the agile development programmes was large enough to support multiple agile project teams running in parallel, each with their own scrum master and co-ordinated through a scrum of scrums controlling team
